Talking about Anime in Japanese (Audio Course)

Those of us studying Japanese usually love (or at least like) anime.  In fact, anime may have been the reason we started studying in the first place.  But how does one talk about anime in Japanese?  It's not as easy as it sounds.  Japanese people conceptualize anime differently than Westerners — in terms of what anime is and how it is described.  This course will teach you how to talk to Japanese people about anime in a way that Japanese people will understand and culturally connect to.  It will guide you through the contrast of Western and Japanese conceptions of anime by providing everyday, real Japanese you can use to talk to normal native speakers.

The course moves from lesson to lesson through informal, natural conversation between the characters Yui and Andrew.  Through space-repetition methodology, you will practice Japanese words, phrases, and sentences, gradually absorbing the material until you command it and can use it out in the wild, to have exciting and passionate conversations with real Japanese people.

Warning: This course is for intermediate to advanced learners (N3 to N1).  Strong N4 learners may find this course helpful, but extra challenging.
